HealthyBid is an online web-based technology matching patients in need of
health care with quality providers offering services at competitive
prices. Providers receive increased revenue, broad exposure and decreased
operating costs while giving patients a resource to identify and solicit
health care services. HealthyBid's mission is to revolutionize the
delivery of healthcare services through an electronic connection for
uninsured and underinsured patients by offering a network of providers
willing to accept patients who pay at time of service for a reduced rate.

Initially we are building our HealthyBid Provider network by accepting
contact information: Physician, surgeon or type of health care provider,
address, telephone and fax numbers, provider type and specialty. Please

The Provider Profile Page
This is the section on the HealthyBid site where we advertise and market
your practice. HealthyBid will supply a template for general formatting
including all contact information, photographs, map, education,
specialty, training, board certification, professional statement, peer
reviews, testimonials and patient reviews. In addition, each provider
will have the opportunity to customize their profile page by submitting
content designed to differentiate their practice from other providers
offering similar services.
Procedures and Pricing
The HealthyBid Patient Site is scheduled for launch in early first
quarter 2009. Before launch we will ask each provider in our network to
identify the procedures they offer from a comprehensive list, and to
supply a package price for each procedure. The package price will be all
inclusive from initial visit to post procedure follow-up.

The Rhinoplasty package price will include the initial consultation,
surgical procedure, operating room, anesthesia, nursing, recovery and
follow-up.
By maintaining a robust profile page and competitive cash pricing per
test, procedure or service offered, you are supplying patients with
necessary information to support their decision making process. You are
receiving quality leads from patients willing to invest the time to
research quality of care options and competitive pricing in exchange for
paying cash at time of service; and the connections are made at no cost
to your practice.
The Patient Experience
HealthyBid offers online tools that help patients learn about medical
tests and procedures to aid in their decision making. The
prospective patient will create an account, choose a test or procedure,
and request a bid from the HealthyBid provider network based on specific
criteria including procedure and geography.
The immediate bid returns will include the providers that meet the
pre-specified criteria set by the patient and consist of profiles
detailing each provider's contact information, location, specialty,
credentials, and the price for the service in a comprehensive package.
The patient will have the opportunity to choose a particular provider
based on the profile, testimonials, peer and patient reviews, and
pricing; secure a connection, and receive a confirmation of the service
agreement. The provider guarantees that the pricing will remain in effect
for a period of 30 days following the confirmation date. It is the
responsibility of the patient to contact the provider to set up the
initial appointment. The Provider will receive the same confirmation
thereby securing the same expectation of the service to be delivered and
the cash price due at time of service.
The HealthyBid site will include a community review process where users
of the site rate their experiences. Patients must have made contact
through HealthyBid and been given an "invitation" link to provide
feedback on a particular provider. The public at large will not have
access to provide ratings without such an invitation. The goal is to help
the consumer make informed decisions by giving them trusted information
from a community of their peers.
